I want you to know.
These are my advice.

For example.
You get a model that "You can redistribute edited model."
It is NOT means "You can redistribute a material of parts".
"edit" that Japanese maker usually think is to edit from Normal Miku to Wedding  dress Miku.
It is not means that you edit to delete the hair and  the clothes and redistribute only the body.

Is it illegal or not?
It is depended on modeler.
A lot of modeler forbid to redistribute the original model (not edited).
Is only deleted parts model really "edited model"?

You say it is edited model: hair part, eyes part, body part, clothes part!
Do you think that modeler is glad?
It is depended on modeler.

It is not problem If you make a part and distribute it.
So, Others use it and the model that maker permit editing and redistribution, It is no problem.

It is not "edit" that you separate parts, I think.
I think "Edit" is that you remodeling another character or dress another clothes . (of course in legal)

------------------------

Do you think why modeler protect the model data by password?
I think that modeler put you to a test.
Whether you worthy of credit.
Whether you have an ability to understand Japanese language.
Whether you consider something on yourself.
Whether you can solve the problem.

Someone can pass through the test because you write the password or hint.

Do yourself.
Don't tell the hints.

for example.
You make a model and distribute it  with a password to not make bad.
The password hint "in Russian language,The flower that Russia likes"  is written by you.
Someone write "it is Sunflower! Let's translate by google!".
Someone write "This password is 'подсолнечник'.! I am kind! XD".
Kind? HAHAHA.
It is a nice joke. Do not make laugh!
It is NOT kindness to model maker.
It is an egoism.
Password would have been set for what?
It is as same as No barrier to get the model.

You would not like an "unfair", would you?
You should solve the password on yourself.
Otherwise no matter how you don't get a trust by modeler.

------------------------

I am glad to many hetalia MMD oversea user keep rules currently than before.
ah....It weighs on my mind that still there are many prints use MMD model....

Thanks you people to help us.
Thank you people to cooperate us.

Keep rules and let's enjoy MMD!

P.S.
Remember that a maker permit to redistribute edited his model is NOT means  renounce his copyright.
It is NOT free material if He permit to redistribute edited his model.
It is NOT Copyright abandonment.

Thank you for these journals nononoP, I am fairly new to MMD but I can understand how you feel. Making a model is like drawing a picture. After the model is finished, it's like a completed work of art. Although Japanese MMD users allow their work to be edited, I feel sad that people somehow think that it automatically makes it okay to redistribute parts :( I also think that editing just means a change of clothes and probably a few changes to improve the character!
The one thing I have to disagree with you on is the password thing. I can understand why the Japanese would put passwords on their models (I would to if I could ever figure out Blender and make a model myself) but it hurted me a little when you said that using something to help you get the model would mean that you wouldn't get trusted. This is your journal and your opinion so I understand but I don't think that getting a little help with passwords is all bad. It IS bad if you got the password directly but using something to help wouldn't be so bad (Google Translate should not be trusted, a bit of advice). I just think that as long as you take the time to figure it out and follow the rules of the model then help from a translator wouldn't be bad. If I do recall, in a journal entry, you said that MMD is like a hobby and that learning English is such a chore. It's the same for people who don't know Japanese, MMD is a hobby of ours too but it's not like some of us are going to learn a whole language because of one or two models.
My family originally came from Asia and Asia is very big on respect and loyalty (at least what I've seen) so I can understand how you feel. I think that your models as well as all the other Japanese models are very beautiful. I look forward to seeing more of your work and I promise to follow all of your rules (see? people from the west aren't all bad). I am sorry if my comment offended you in anyway and I am deeply sorry that this comment was so long too! English probably wasn't your first language so I assume that it's hard for you (I know a few languages myself and it's really hard translating sometimes).
